Allbirds Carbon Concept Store at Selfridges

B Corp footwear brand Allbirds is stepping back into London with a new pop-up in Selfridges’ Wonder Room and a display in its accompanying Oxford Street window. Centred around the theme of carbon reduction, the pop-up aims to highlight how reducing the planet’s carbon emissions is key to solving the climate crisis – and uses this space to educate and contextualise carbon for visitors to the store. Allbirds communicates the impact of carbon on the fashion industry with a fun visual display, using a large, black sphere to show what 1 kg of CO2 looks like and mini spheres next to a row of shoes to visualise their respective carbon emissions. The pop-up will also unveil a prototype of the new M0.0NSHOT shoe, which boasts a landmark carbon footprint of net 0.0 kg CO2e.
