London Design Week

What?

For six days in March, Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour (one of our Great British Brands) will host London Design Week, a dynamic programme attracting both professionals and design-lovers alike. With 600 international brands across 120 showrooms, as well as a number of exciting pop-ups, meet-the-designer sessions, specially commissioned installations and innovative dining experiences, there’s something for everyone. Here are some of the highlights…

• Conversation In Design: Talks and panel discussions from influential figures including Kit Kemp, Katharine Pooley, Maria Speake, Russell Sage, Sarah Spiteri, Sophie Ashby, Charlie Casely-Hayford and Ben Spriggs.
• Legends: Showroom windows will be dressed to the nines, with a number of collaborations between international photographers and designers. Yabu Pushelberg is incorporating an image of film star Michael Caine at SA Baxter Foundry & Design Studio, de Le Cuona has selected a colourful image of Marilyn Monroe, Phillip Jeffries is teaming up with Gunter & Co, plus many more exciting collaborations.
• Access All Areas: Visitors are being offered the chance to go behind the scenes with top designers and figures. Head to US firm Baker for an open house session with David Collins Studio, get hands on with Maya Romanoff at Altfield, hear more about mindfulness at Jensen Beds, or learn the secrets of Melissa Hemsley’s cooking with recipe demonstrations.

The largest of its kind in Europe, Chelsea Harbour Design Centre is renowned as the place for creative excellence.
