White City’s Bindas Eatery is set to unveil a new selection of dishes for Diwali, inspired by the hustle and bustle of India and designed to take designers on a tour through the country. New dishes include Aloo Tikka Chaata, a spiced potato cake served with whipped feta, chilli jam, beetroot slaw, coriander and sev; Ra Ra Biriyani, a dish comprised of lamb shoulder and mince biriyani layered with herbs and spices; and Butterscotch and Saffron Kulfi Cake Jars With Popcorn.

Yaatra

Newly opened restaurant Yaatcha will be welcoming the Diwali festivities with a limited edition menu highlighting the restaurant’s signature blend of Indian cooking styles. The menu, which comes with a sparkling cocktail on arrival, will kick things off with a sharing kebab platter before settling on a classic curry feast of traditional butter chicken, lamb Rogan Josh, Awadhi lamb biryani and a juicy prawn Malai curry. Keeping things traditional, the feast will end on a sweet note with Gulab Jamun, one of India’s most famed festival desserts.

The Cinnamon Club

Nestled among the book-lined shelves of the Grade-II Old Westminster Library, The Cinnamon Club is the perfect little hideaway for celebrations this year. The restaurant will be serving up a five-course tasting menu for diners, with highlights including dishes of jackfruit and lotus root kebab, Kokum crusted halibut, Old Delhi style butter chicken and clove smoked saddle of lamb. Want to keep things a little more low-key this year? Forego the set menus and parties and instead treat yourself to an evening of delicious dining at Babur. Crowned London’s Best Asian Restaurant by the Asian Restaurant Awards, Babur is renowned for its contemporary twist on regional Indian dishes. Hero dishes inlcude Kasundi king prawns with Bengali mustard, spiced puff rice and green papaya murabba and a vegetarian thali with paneer makai tawa masala, green bean fogath, dal makhni, aloo gobi, mustard raita, pulao rice and a mini naan bread. Brigadiers

Brigadiers, Bloomberg Arcade’s vibrant Indian beer and BBQ restaurant, will be serving up an impressive line-up of its signature dishes alongside a limited-edition menu. Make sure to tuck into the Diwali Feast for the full experience, which has been designed to be shared with friends and family. Highlights on the menu include Achari Chicken Skins and Benarasi Samosa Chaat served alongside Smoked Pumpkin Thepla, Original BBQ Butter Chicken Wings and Amritsari Fried Fish Paos. In honour of the holiday’s gift-giving tradition, Brigadiers is also offering the chance to gift someone special an in-restaurant experience that includes its limited edition Diwali menu and a private dining experience.

Gymkhana

Gymkhana will be opening its doors to the festivities again this October, with a brand new limited edition Diwali tasting menu created by Executive Chef Sid Ajuha up for grabs. Comprised of five courses, the menu will feature sharing dishes like Kesari Kalmi Kebab and Kid Goat Methi Keema alongside Gymkhana signatures like Chicken Butter Masala and, Wild Muntjac Biryani and Pomegranate and Mint Raita. The evening will be rounded off with a choice of Saffron Pistachio Kulfi Falooda or Gulab Jamun Crumble and Cardamom Basundi. Elevate the experience by pairing the feasting menu with a selection of hand-chosen wines for an addtional £95.

This year, Trishna will be hosting a candlelit feasting experience to celebrate the Festival of Lights in style. A five-course Celebratory Feast, created by Executive Head Chef Sajeev and his team, will be available to order throughout the week.
