Ballet Under the Stars is a magical evening of dance under a canopy in the gardens of the privately-owned Hatch House. Set in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, the house and gardens overlook the beautiful Vale of Wardour.

The first ballet was held at Hatch in 2010, and since then it has grown from one evening to four this year, with 430 guests each night.

Arriving at Hatch down a grand, tree-lined avenue, guests will enter the gardens via a stone arch and will be greeted with the newly created Café Folle. With cocktail in hand, you can enjoy the gardens and exclusive installations by guest artist Hugo Dalton.

At 7pm it will be time to enter the beautiful walled garden (covered for the event), where you will enjoy a delicious gourmet hamper supper with paired wines from local wine merchant Gardner and Beedle.

You will be entranced by a packed programme of world-class ballet and dance, all performed in thirty-minute sections between courses. Dancers this year include present and future stars from the Paris Opera Ballet, including newly appointed Principal Guillaume Diop; Royal Ballet superstar Principal Dancer Francesca Hayward; and Principals from the Staatsballett Berlin, Ksenia Ovsyanick and Dinu Tamazlacaru. We will also see the return of former Royal Ballet Principal Mara Galeazzi.

With an evening inspired by ‘Les Années Folle’ of Paris in the 1920s, the Café will transform into a speakeasy after the show, where guests can enjoy cocktails and music until 1am.

• The prize winner and guest will also be offered a glass of champagne on arrival, which will be in the form of a voucher to present at the bar. All other drinks apart from wine with supper must be paid for at the bar.
• The prize does not cover accommodation or travel to and from the venue.
